Destiny's Child

Delhi is very much history’s child. Past and present meld seamlessly here , making centuries- old monuments part of the city’s daily life. Ancient structures peep out from behind green roundabouts. Forts, palaces, tombs , formal gardens, places of worship and marketplaces from different periods in Delhi’s history are strewn all over. In central Delhi , take in Rashtrapati Bhavan , India Gate , Parliament House and Connaught place for a glimpse of indo-Saracenic architecture , and the Rajput style Jantar Mantar closeby. The Mughal touch is obvious in old Delhi’s Red fort, jamma masjid and chandni chowk. Early muslim monuments like the Qutub minar, Hazrat Nizamuddin’s dargah and several others stand proudly in south Delhi.
