Climb All Mountain

Theirs is no state quite like jammu and Kashmir when it comes to adventure sports. Mountains , valleys , lakes , glaciers . . . this ‘paradise on earth’ has it all , including india’s most famous skiing resort , gulmarg. A resort that has been popular since before independence, gulmarg boasts some of the highest ski runs in India. Go cross –country skiing or slaloming, or if you’ve never done this before learn the sport on the beginner’s slopes. This is also the country’s premier heli-skiing destination. From Kashmir, move to ladakh and go mountaineering in the most frequented climbing area , especially by foreign tourists, the nun-kun massif. These peaks are near kargil, in the great Himalayan range. Then it’s on to a very high-endurance activity-mountain biking-on the leh-manali highway. This highway is the second highest motorable road in the world, and winds its through some extremely hostile terrain. The entire stretch is 485 km long and cuts across four mountain passes.
